What Should I Do With This Blog?

    PIC-0037

So, in between vacuuming to make the wife happy, petting one of four dogs that we have, and working on my commitments for the year--something occurred to me:

Anyone who knows me knows that I try to be open and honest about stuff and today is no exception.  I was looking at my posts and thinking that I have never really asked what the folks reading this thing would like to see.  I have always taken the approach that I do the "technical stuff" on the road and in my webcasts then use this as a vehicle to drive awareness of those things.  Is that what you want to see?  Should I put technical articles on the blog as well?  Let me know your thoughts.  So many blogs that I see (except for the rockstars like ScottGu) really don't have people saying anything on them.  I dig interaction and certainly welcome any thoughts.  I try to post something at least once or twice a week but sometimes fall shot (June is a stellar example).  So get those opinions in and let me know what you would like to see out of this blog.

    Halo 3 Party

So, I'm in charge of a Halo 3 Event and wanted to do a little "before and after" action.   Below is the "before" pic of the MPR (Microsoft speak for "big room") where the event will be held.  I just hope everything fits.  The event isn't until the end of this month but i'm still stressing over crap like catering, booze, and other stuff that goes into one of these suckers.  Party on!!!!  :)

If you want to take IIS7 for a spin, this is a really, really good (well, free!!) offer: http://www.iis.net/default.aspx?tabid=7&subtabid=791

From the info on the site:

"Want to Go Live but don't want to set up a server? These great Hosting partners have the answer and the best part is, it's FREE! IIS7 Beta Hosting is an excellent way for developers & designers to take the sites they've played with on IIS7 in Windows Vista and test them early on IIS7 in Windows Server Codename "Longhorn" Beta 3 today. Furthermore, for PHP developers, this is a great opportunity to check out the new FastCGI component that enables scalable PHP hosting on Windows."
