Going to hook up with the Topeka .NET Users Group, still figuring out a date but will let you all know when I will be heading out there. Looking forward to hanging out with the folks :)
Want to use your Wiimote to control your .NET app? Check out what Chad is working on at his blog or on CodePlex. Seriously cool stuff.

There you go :)
I totally forgot to give a shout out by name to my buds for lunch on Friday: Jasdeep and Nelson from http://www.alamocoders.net! Thanks guys for all the great ideas and the kick butt enthusiasm you have for growing the .NET User Community in SA!
I'm contemplating a "pictures from the road" set of posts to show some selected scenes from the MSDN Events. Sounds like it might be fun to do, gonna think in it some more and decide. I'm not sure why but I have this image in my mind from "Fletch" with Chevy Chase where he is showing pictures of his trip....
Many, Many thanks to the great folks in San Antonio! The event was not as great as I would have liked for it to be but the people more than made up for all the mishaps that happened. I love that neck of the woods as I went to the academy there and Southwest Texas State (now Texas State). The country is very beautiful and you can't beat the tex-mex food.
I met with the San Antonio .NET User Group and would strongly encourage anyone in that vicinity to join the wonderful folks they have. I really enjoyed having lunch Friday with the crew :)
Here are the dates and locations you can find me at the MSDN Events. These are the presentations we put on in the movie theatres and, of course, have great food and swag. If you have never been to one, you really need to check it out. Also, if you don't see your city, click on the link to the left for MSDN Events to find a location near you :)
We will be covering:
I'm happy to announce that I just attended the another successful meeting in Second Life for the new .NET User Group that was formed recently. They already have 300 members and are going strong. If you haven't discovered Second Life yet, go to http://www.secondlife.com and see what is is all about.
The leader of the DNUG is Tori and I must say she rocks! She has taken this group to the level it is at now and continues to handle it's amazing growth very well. I think the idea of a Second Life DNUG is awesome as it let's you attend meetings online plus it is a great addition to the live meetings many of you may already be attending. I can't wait to see what happens with this group next.
If you want to find out more, you can go to their information in CodeZone or simply join the ".Net Developers" group in-world. Give me a shout if you have any issues :)
So...my buds Lindsay and Anand showed me this today. Looks seriously cool and wondering why I haven't seen this before.
Just got done talking to my buddy Benko and he is going to post a series on some of the cool new features coming up. Keep an eye on his blog for more info..
