I am enterprise architecture consultant within Microsoft Services Enterprise Strategy Business. I have been working in the IT industry for over twenty years and have held the roles of software engineer, systems analyst, program manager, process engineer, infrastructure architect, solutions architect, and enterprise architect. I have had the priviledge to work with many of Microsoft's strategic customers in helping them align their business goals with the right technology solution that includes Microsoft and third party technology.
As an IASA Certified IT Architect Professional (CITA-P) and an Open CA Distingished Enterprise IT Architect, I have been involved in advancing the profession of architecture within Microsoft and in the IT industry. Recently I have been focused on the "softer" or artistic side of architecture that focuses on behavioral aspects of the system and applying systems theory in my design work focusing on complex adaptive systems like orgainzational systems and cloud computing.
Many of the ideas here have been inspired by my research and readings around systems theory and business design.
