Last July I observed a trend of increasing number of posts in several internal job mail groups. I believed it was a sign that things were getting better. Indeed. Now a year later, we can see that the number of posts keep increasing in the past twelve months. Though there may be duplicate posts (for example, a hiring manager cannot find get vacancy filled so he decides to make ads again in the mail groups), this is anyway a trend and index of hiring activity. It would be even better if I had the number of the years before the economy crisis.
