Mobile Monday DC and Microsoft invite you to attend Mobile In Education - How the Mobile Channel Impacts Lifelong Learning.

On March 19th, at the Microsoft offices in Chevy Chase, leaders from the technology, university, and non-profit industries will discuss how the mobile channel engages lifelong learners, as well as their predictions for how tools and technologies will evolve. The event, which is free and open to the public, also features the talented team from Profiles. We will also continue to collect recycled cell phones for Grameen Foundation, please remember your phone donation!

Event Schedule

3pm – 6 pm Chat/meet with Microsoft Evangelists and Business managers (prior to the program)

6pm-7pm Networking, Exhibits and Light Refreshments

7pm-8pm Program

8pm-8:30pm Program Concludes, Additional Networking

Come early to the Mobile Monday Event on March 19th to check out Windows 8, Windows Phone and Windows Azure! Microsoft Evangelists and Business managers will host office hours from 3pm – 6 pm on March 19^th at the Chevy Chase Office. No registration required for this pre-event. However, registration is required for the program from 6pm-8pm: http://momodcmarch2012.eventbrite.com.

During the Office hours, you will be able to see, touch and play with Windows 8 running on various tablets and laptops. If you are planning to develop an application on Windows 8, we have technologists that can help on site.
