Microsoft and Sun Expand Strategic Alliance - Press Release

Holy cow!  This is big.  Today, Microsoft and Sun Microsystems announced in a joint press release that Sun has signed on as a Windows Server OEM.  Since the 2004 collaboration announcement, we have been working with Sun to grow our relationship and continue our commitment to 64-bit computing.  Now Windows customers can choose Sun hardware for their heterogeneous environment.  Tremendous progress!  And it's all going down pretty quickly.  From the press release:

"Windows Server 2003 will be available on Sun x64 systems within 90 days."
