I think it's a great concept, and one that should be promoted more often. Here's the plucky thing that I have introduced a few weeks ago:

There's a file in our source control system that is very important and (unfortunately) cannot be merged when two people made changes to it, because it's a binary file. So I created a "token" which simply consists of a small old cardboard box and I wrote the word "TOKEN" on it. Only the person who (literally) owns the token is allowed to checkout that file, change it and commit it. If anyone works on that file without "owning the token" the others are allowed to throw objects (of similar size and weight) at him/her.

Our system works perfectly. There have only been a couple of illegal changes to the file ever since.

nice! Betsy - When does the Plunky handbook come out. At least a MSDN white paper, perhaps?? I would love to walk into one of my "agile" meeting with it :) This is so going to be the way I run my next project.
