Interview Questions

One of my more popular articles via Google searches is the “Why are manhole covers round?” entry. There are of course many other interview questions that you should be prepared for and Thomas Nguyen points out a site with quite a few of them. Thomas writes:

Are you wondering what types of tech questions employers will ask at interviews? Check out this repository filled with over a hundred different questions from different categories such as .NET, DB, and even submit yours after your interview for everyone else to see: http://www.techinterviews.com/

# re: Interview Questions

I've heard the following answers:
1.Manholes are round to prevent them from falling in. (covered in your comments)
2.Manholes are round to make them easier to handle, i.e. roll (covered in your comments)
3.Manholes are round because the round shape distributes the weight of vehicles driving over them most efficiently thereby allowing them to be lighter
