VS 2008 Design time performance improvements reported

It's nice to see that people in the "real world" are seeing benefits from our efforts to improve performance in VS 2008.

Cool! Now can you do anything about ASP.NET compile performance? Even with Scott Guthrie's "performance guide" suggestions in place, it takes an enormous amount of time to compile and begin debugging an ASP.NET solution.

Mike, I emailed Scott about it and he said that between VS2008 and his "performance guide", you shouldn't be seeing slow compile problems.  He would like you to email him so that he can have someone work with you to understand the source of your issues.  His address is scottgu@microsoft.com.
