System Center 2007 Management Pack for TFS 2008 is available!
I know it's been a long time coming and we've had quite a few false starts but it is finally available. Not a week goes by that someone doesn't check with me on when they could get it so I know there's a fair number of people out there waiting for it. We've been piloting it with a couple of customers for a couple of months now and we wanted to make sure we had resolved all of the issues they hit before we released it. A few last minute issues and a complex publishing process made it hard to say for sure when it would be available, but wait no longer...
I think you will find this tool to be a valuable addition for monitoring and managing your TFS 2008 server (it doesn't work on TFS 2005). Further, it requires System Center Operations Manager 2007. Overview
The Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2008 Management Pack monitors exposed services of TFS. This management pack includes event rules and monitors. It is designed to proactively monitor quality and availability of TFS services and even automate recovery in some scenarios.

- Leverages ASP.NET MP and SQL MP
- Implements containment hierarchy reflecting logical architecture of the Product
- Implements a proper health model using Monitors
