QFE for debugger crash available

I don't usually blog about QFE availability but this is one that has annoyed me personally over the past 6 months or so and I wanted to share it.  I'm told there have been over 50,000 reports of it through Dr. Watson.  I'm glad we were able to get a fix out.

A fix for a widely reported crash in the Visual Studio 2008 IDE is now available.  This fixes a crash that occurs after changing layouts (undocking/docking windows) and then changing modes (start stop debug, or switch to/from full screen).  This bug was introduced in Service Pack 1 and the fix for this is now available for download via Code Gallery at:  http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/KB960075

# re: QFE for debugger crash available

So how come the fix isn't found when the IDE crashes and looks for a fix?

It looks like there was a mix up in the publishing process for this fix.  Thanks to your comment, we have found it and fixed it.  It should be showing up soon.

Thanks,

Brian
