A dogfooding milestone

This week we hit a notable milestone on the DevDiv TFS dogfood server – 1,000,000 checkins.  One of the people on our team put together this graph to demonstrate the trend:

We’re going to be having a little celebration on Monday to commemorate it.

Hope yesterday's celebration was a huge success....

I just ran an estimate on when WE will hit that same milestone.....Guess it will have to be my great-great-grandson who witnesses it.

When I check in from Team Foundation Server Client, the check in is not getting reflected on server. While uploading project either on server or on client, I receive conflicts for every file of the project. Is there something which could be done.

That's a pretty amazing graph. Are those feature checkins or bugs...? :-)

So the question is, who did that millionth checkin? And do they get a prize or something? Was there a big checkin battle at the end to get that millionth checkin?

Well, I have to admit it was a bit underwhelming.  The millionth customer was one of the way too many automated tools we have around here that is constantly banging on the server doing something that someone thought was a good idea.  We had a brief celebration in email to demark the event but it was less momentus by the fact that it actually wasn't a person :)
