With 7 seconds remaining on the patch installation I received "Error 28002" with an option to Cancel or Retry. Retry didn't help. Cancel just rolled the install back.

Luckily TFS is still operational. Looks like I ended up with some event log entries for TFS Services event 3012 though.

Would it be possible to send me the MSI install log? The errors you are running into typically indicate some misconfiguration of the TFS instance that do not stop the server from running but cause problems during servicing operations.

FYI

Setup failed if TFS Server is under SSL. WEB sites must have SSL turned off before setup cans succeed.
