Yes, I feel terrible that it's been what 18 months since I last posted here. All I can say is that I'm going to try to do better. Somehow in the daily crush of emergencies I just never seem to find the time to sit down and write something

re: What's new with TFS Beta 3?

We had been using Beta 2 for a few weeks with not much problem (Mostly as a central repository for Word documents pertaining to a large project we developing).

We installed beta 3 on a clean machine and now it takes an extremely long time to open and save files. A 1MB Word document is taking 20 minutes to load. We are at a loss to explain this and it seams that since one of the fixes in beta 3 was to handle large files better that this would not be an issue.

Any help would be appreciated.
re: What's new with TFS Beta 3?

I recommend you post a question in the TFS newsgroup on http://forums.microsoft.com. Include some more detail on the issue. What are you using to open and save files? Are you using the Documents node in Team Explorer?, Work Item attachments? The Source Control Explorer?
