A great start yesterday at the TechReady 6 conference in Seattle for Microsoft Business Intelligence.  For those not familiar with the conference, it's our internal, 2x/year gathering of field technical personnel from around the world to get together and learn the latest new features and functionality with all the Microsoft products.

With over 40 sessions this event focused on business intelligence, and overflow crowds at many of the break-out sessions (not to mention a call-out of PerformancePoint Server, SharePoint, and SQL Server 2008 by Steve Ballmer in his keynote address), the business intelligence component of this conference is front and center!

The great news for our customers and partners coming out of this conference is the increasing number of technical resources the company is putting towards its business intelligence efforts.

Quote of the day from host Norm Judah:  "You can't have a best practice without a lot of practice."

Wise words indeed...
