Reporting Services rendering performance improvements in Katmai
I'm attending TechReady3 (an MSFT technical training event), and just sat through a great session on SSRS led by Chris Baldwin. Among other things he mentioned was a major emphasis on rendering performance (especially for Excel and PDF & memory use) in Katmai. There will be a major re-work of the rendering architecture to accomplish this. Don't know much more, but thought I'd pass this along.
