The BCL team's site goes live!

We have been working on this for a while – well, really the idea came up in a team meeting two weeks ago… We wanted a place where the BCL team can push out samples, FAQ, and articles very easily… In fact the whole team can directly publish… I am looking. Check it out: http://www.gotdotnet.com/team/clr/BCL/

Already some good stuff up there:

            KitG’s TryParse demo

            AMoore’s Date and Time FAQ

            BrianGru’s Managed Resource Viewer

And bunches of other cool stuff..

Also, for you RSS heads, we have a feed where we post updates to the site….

The FAQ about DateTime should mention that the XML serializer expects DateTime values to be in local time!!!

You've probably already spotted this typo, but "System.Gobalization"? What's a Gobal? :) It's on the main bcl page, in the table under the "namespace" column.

The Date and Time FAQ is a .DOC. That's lame. (Yes, I have Word 2003. Browser integration is not seamless.)
