Verizon One is a “super” featured desktop phone that runs the .NET Compact Framework… I wonder if they let you develop for the thing?  It would be cool to write a RSS reader for the thing ;-)

Knowing VZW they will probably cripple it in such a way that you will have to purcahse a HUGE and $$$$ developer pack to do anything interesting. However there are always hardware hackers..... They beat GIN they can beat this...

Well if they cripple the development for the thing, it's just bad for them because less developers will implement solutions to work with it and less developers will advise their company's clients to buy one.

If they don't cripple it, I'm already imagining the potential of the thing :)

I'm still on the project and it's a pretty cool phone. Unfortunately there will be no thirdparty APIs available as far as I know.
