MySilverlightTV on .NET Framework 3.5 Beta2

With some help from Harris Chan and Steve Marx I got MySilverlightTV updated to the latest and greatest bits.  It now uses the Silverlight 1.0 RC, .NET Framework 3.5 Beta2, VS 2008 Beta2, ASP.NET AJAX Control Toolkit and ASP.NET Futures (July 2007)

Hi there,

I've downloaded the zip file(with videos included) but I can't build the project. I get an error Unkown server tag: mix:MediaAdExtender in Watch.aspx file. Did I miss to download something? I have Silverlight 1.0 RC, .net 3.5, vs 2008 beta 2 and asp.net futures already installed.

In the larger 'with videos' zip, the file AdService.asmx is corrupt.

The soultion is to download the smaller 24mb zip file and extract that over the top of the other files.

By combining them, you'll end up with a working version of the project.

I was working on a small silverlight video player, but after seeing this demo, my plans are becoming altogether more ambitious.

I downloaded the sample files but I don't see any project file. How do I run it?

# BradA said on September 4, 2007 11:11 AM:

Yea -- I uploaded it as a website, do just do File/Open WebSite and point it to the MySilverlightTV directory

I'm trying to set the MediaUrl that the Player uses to be pulled in using a Querystring parameter.  How can I get this to work:

        <%--asp:media--%><asp:Media id="MediaPlayer" runat="server" AutoPlay="True" Height="366px"

                   MediaSkin="Expression" MediaUrl='mms://myWMEServer:8080/<%= Request("id") %>' OnClientChapterStarted="onChapterStarted"

                   Width="488px" Windowless="true">

               </asp:Media>

Thanks in advance.
