&lt;p&gt;Rollback gets a specific version and merges it with the latest version in order to remove a set of changes from the latest code. &amp;nbsp;For example, if you accidentally check in a piece of code that's not ready, you can use rollback to revert the change so that other people getting the latest code won't get your change.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Any way it could be changed to only update the files that are actually part of the changeset specified?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You'll also be happy to know that in TFS 2010 there is server-side support for rollback.&lt;/p&gt;
