Alex, the TSWA link is constructed using the artifact URI. Here's the link for build 9810.

http://mytfs:8090/UI/Pages/Build/Details.aspx?builduri=vstfs:///Build/Build/9810

The TSWA web page for the build details and the web page for build details supplied with TFS are nearly the same.

I'll check to see whether there's support for specifying the definition name and build number.

Thanks, we're glad you like it. We had some issues with the link to the build log on the build details page, so we changed it to just show the path. We're working on fixing it for Rosario.

Direct links are a great feature, but they should really be accessible directly from the web interface so that users can send links to each other easily. In its current state this feature is only useful for auto-generated notification emails.

Luke, that's a fair point. In fact, we've added a link in the work item editor that you can right click and copy so that you can paste it into email. This feature is in the TFS 2010 release. There is more work to be done in this area, but this is a start.
