I notice that Blogger has provided the ability for its users to expose syndication feeds (in the Atom format).  “Great!”  I thought; “Now I can go subscribe to all those sites that look interesting but don’t have syndication feeds!” 

So I rushed off to Baghdad Burning, and tried to subscribe.  (Blogger and the associated blogspot.com seem very popular with Iraqi bloggers.)

No feed.

A closer look at the feature release announcement clarified that this was a feature that has to be manually enabled by the Blogger customer.

What a bummer; I wonder how many of those folks will actually bother to do this?  Or even know that they can?

Anyway, if your blog is on blogspot.com, or otherwise powered by the Blogger engine, please enable your syndication feed and make life easier for the rest of us.
