Something similar used to happen (with all O/S). If you had a combo box in a form that had a rowsource property set, but the rowsource indicated a data source was not available from the DE.

In versions prior to 7 (I think) the form would not load, and you would get a dreaded C00005 error.

I've still seen a dreaded "fail to open" form error with VFP 9, most recently last week with a Data Environment where there was no Alias/cursor selected in the data environment object.

So Calvin, why don't you claim this error to be a VFP bug? After all, it occurs when the programmer has included only one item in a two item listbox. Maybe the compiler should raise an error on this?
