My name is Christopher Diggins I work at Microsoft in the Windows Digital Media Division as a programming writer. This means I need to know  a little about a lot of different things. I'll try to share useful tidbits of information on this blog with regards to development on the Windows platform, as it comes up in my day to day work. Occasionally I'm bound to get distracted by flights of fancy and start talking about my dreams of better languages and tools for developers.

I've been programming personal computers for twenty years, and I've been a professional developer on Windows since 1995.
