Gates on Web 2.0
A poster on my last blog entry really got the wheels turning in my brain. Am I becoming one of those marketing hype kind of guys? Well I am sure that I am succumbing partly to that. I am more reactionary - my customers hear this web 2.0 thing, and as a Microsoft representative I have to have some type of response. Therefore we talk about things like SOA and Web 2.0, and customers have invested a good part of their daily lives understanding terms like SOA and Web 2.0. I am just putting the tools that we create into terms that are more readily accessible by the public at large.
Anyway, here is a very interseting webcast from Bill Gates and a few other notables on the significance of Web 2.0. We hear all the arguments for and against the idea of Web 2.0.
