Windows Help format is not supported in Windows Vista.

Just had a semi rude shock trying to view the documentation for a little utility called Total Recorder that Vista no longer supports the older Windows Help (*.hlp) format...If you are an ISV shipping *.hlp files you might want to check out:

Windows Help program (WinHlp32.exe) is no longer included with Windows

I find it strange that WinHelp.exe - which is the 16-bit version of WinHelp32.exe - WILL be included in Vista. From the KB:

"The WinHelp.exe program is a version of Windows Help designed for 16-bit .hlp files. The WinHelp.exe program will continue to be included with Windows Vista."

Winhlp32.exe won't be included in Vista, as it is deprecated but you will be able to download it from Download Center: See section Deprecated Components
