Old Home Week: Anders and ChuckJ
I was walking down the hall today, and looked casually in Ander's office without really thinking about it. I went on a few steps, then suddenly had to backtrack. There was Anders Hejlsberg and Chuck Jazdzewski chatting together in one office! Ten years ago, when I was back at Borland, that would have been a very common sight. And there was a time -- quite a long time, actually -- when I thought I would never see that particular sight again. But there they were, heads together, looking very much at home with one another.
Of course, these days I'm sure they are no longer talking about Delphi. More likely they were discussing plans for Cider, or for some intricacy involving life in the .NET world. At any rate, it was great to see them together.
