My name is Chris Romp, and I joined Microsoft in early 2007 as a Technology Specialist (or TSP), specializing in BizTalk Server, Host Integration Server, as well as SOA and ESB concepts, taking over Richard Seroter's previous position.
I'm originally from Des Moines, Iowa, where I began my career as a systems engineer/DBA, and eventually a network engineer (Cisco, Microsoft, Novell, Linux/Unix systems and networks). I relocated to San Diego in 2002 working with a Dynamics GP (then Great Plains) reseller. After that I joined a Fortune 500 company in the area where I specialized in integration systems with Dynamics GP using SQL, web services, and of course, BizTalk server.
