It's been a while since I have updated my blog and there is a very good reason for this. About 1 month ago I accepted an offer as SDET in the Windows Live Mobile team in Redmond. We arrived in Seattle on October 30th and it's been a hectic time with all the practicalities involved in moving to the other side of the planet ;-) The blog stays the same and so will the content. Stay tuned...
This is cool...send an email to Postful and they will print and send your snail mail letter for you. Check it out. http://postful.com/
Crisp has a set of Planning Poker cards you can buy - cool stuff http://www.crisp.se/planningpoker/
Andrew Arnott has an interesting post on WCF support in NetCF 3.5. Looks like Fault Contracts are not in scope for the first release.
What a great idea! Cool stuff!
The Kaiser a.k.a. HTC TyTN II has been long awaited. I love my HTC TyTN and having seen the TyTN II specs this is a must have device. Go Go GPS! :-)

On July 10 2007 the Mobile Applications Group at Microsoft Development Center Copenhagen (MDCC) released v1 of our super cool products - Microsoft Dynamics AX Mobile Sales and Microsoft Dynamics Mobile Development Tools. The entire team has been working really hard on getting this release out the door, and we actually managed to ship 6 months early! On top of shipping a v1 product we also incorporated several agile methodologies in our team: Scrum, Test Driven Development and Pair Programming - really cool stuff!

The team is now working on v.Next, so stay tuned for more good stuff.
Just download the Windows Live Writer beta (this post was created using Live Writer), and "WOW" - how cool is this! It automatically detected all my blog settings and it has really nice features for previewing posts, working with pictures and inserting maps direcly from Live.com. Sweet!
I stumbled across this little handy tool today. Team Build Ticker runs in the system tray, and will display a small pop window whenver your build completes. I like it as a supplement to my other project alerts...

My friends over at HandStep has just released a beta version of their TeamCalender product, that allows you to view your colleague's calendars and plan meetings with them from your Windows Mobile device. Check it out at www.teamcalendar.com
James Newkirk has an interesting post on code coverage metrics. It's impossible to use a hard code coverage target like 80%, so working with a code coverage trend is better. Would be interesting to know how many of you guys out there are working towards a hard target?
I had a really nice chat with my old collegue Martin Gildenpfennig the other day, and we talked about SCRUM, TDD etc and how this has completely changed my perception of software development in general. Martin suggested signing up for DAUG, so I'm now a member.
The next meeting is May 2nd. For more info including how to sign up: http://daug.nordija.dk/index.php/Main_Page.
