About Me

My name is Chris Jackson. I am an Architect and the Technical Lead for the Microsoft Windows Application Experience SWAT Team, based in Chicago.

I have been a developer for over a decade, and these days I spend most of my time working with customers to address compatibility issues in a migration to Windows Vista, as well as assisting developers in understanding where their applications may have compatibility issues, and what they can do about that.

In addition to sharing my thoughts on development in general, here I try to place as many tips and tricks that I discover in my travels. Hopefully you will find something interesting here to think about, a code snipped that is helpful, or the solution to a problem that has been bugging you.
