I don't mean the content of the demos, i mean the actual setup and execution. You might think this is a simple question to answer, but it is more complex than you think. Has saved my bacon on occasion- As a bit of a Cloud person at the moment there are times where reliability is just totally out of your hands.

re: How we demo…

Hi Chris - one question - how do you do web demos? We have pretty much the same as you for presentations but trying to do it over (e.g.) livemeeting we find that it's nearly impossible to put in place a fallback - you can't just switch everyone over to another livemeeting instance if it all goes wrong! i guess the only way is to have a second presenter, right?

re: How we demo…

Hi mnbf9rca,

Online is much tougher. You can still have a set of backup hardware etc... Have that backup machine alread joined to the live meeting in case you need to switch to that.

If there is a problem with the network etc... you are pretty much out of luck.

A good backup is to have the presentation recorded earlier so people can watch that or you can send it out if others were having issues watching the presentation.

Thanks,

-Chris.
