News from Microsoft Ireland's Developer & Platform Group

Don't miss INDA's DotNetNuke talk here in Dublin tomorrow evening!

Don't miss your chance to hear about DotNetNuke, one of the world's most popular .NET open source projects, straight from one of the core development team....

The DotNetNuke content management system is one of the most popular .NET open source projects out there with a rapidly growing community of over 130,000 users. It was only a couple of months ago that we discovered that Cathal Connolly, one of DotNetNuke's core team members (and there are only 35 worldwide), lives just up the road.

Cathal gave a great talk recently to the Northern Ireland Microsoft Technologies User Group and will be following up with another one here in Dublin tomorrow night at INDA's April meeting. It really is fascinating to hear about his experiences of working on an open source project with Microsoft technologies.

Talk details are included below, and you can register here. Hope to see you there!

Cathal will be giving an introduction to the new release of DotNetNuke 3.0, showing how you can go from scratch to a versatile & powerful content management system, beginning with the installation and configuration of the portal, and then showing how to use the administration functions in order to set up users and security groups & assign access permissions to portal objects.
