News from Microsoft Ireland's Developer & Platform Group

Two new Irish developer MVPs appointed!

Great news! Kieran Lynam and Jamie Plenderleith have been awarded MVPs for their work with the Irish developer communities.

Many of you may know Kieran as one of the original founders of Irish Developer Network four years ago. Since then Kieran has been very active in the Irish community - educating hundreds of Irish folks about the benefits of .NET.

I met Jamie at one of the Irish Dev events last year, little knowing that he has been a prolific contributor on VBForums for years. Getting a MVP with a VB focus is particularly great news for Irish VB developers (and I know there are a lot of you out there). Hopefully we will also see Jamie on the road soon sharing his experiences.

It really is fantastic news that both Kieran and Jamie have been awarded MVPs - we can all look forward to their continued (and may I say excellent :) participation in the Irish .NET community!
