News from Microsoft Ireland's Developer & Platform Group
I am sitting in RAI Conference Centre in Amsterdam at the moment for Tech Ed Europe 2005 listening to rain beat down on the roof. Pre-conference talks on a variety of subjects are happening today. This year we have over 80 attendees from Ireland, and most of us are getting together tomorrow night for the MSDN Ireland country party - I am very much looking forward to it!
Rob will be giving daily updates on the technical tracks and I will be heading along to most of the Birds of a Feather Community sessions. There are lots of sessions this year on developer user groups best practices, tips and tricks.
In the meantime, a friend just mailed me to let me know that my blog was mentioned in the Sunday Business Post over the weekend. So, for those of you who may be first time visitors to this blog, I thought I would give a short overview of what it's all about... My role in the Developer and Platform Group in Microsoft Ireland is to run MSDN (Microsoft Developer Network) breadth programs in Ireland and Northern Ireland. I use this blog to give updates on developer events and programs and third party community events and activities. If you are interested in hearing what's going on in this region - just subscribe to the RSS feed.
If you are interested in Microsoft tech news, you may also be interested in some other blogs from the Developer and Platform Group. Rob blogs regularly with tech news for developers and Bill blogs with news for Software Architects.
