Ok, so I am a couple of days late - but it's taken me a while to recover from the Ireland .NET Developers' Alliance birthday conference on Tuesday in the Morrison here in Dublin. ;)

On Tuesday, more than 100 folks gathered for the largest ever INDA meeting to mark the occasion of their first birthday. INDA has had an amazing year:-  after starting with 5 people in a pub last year, they have now grown to over 850 members with local groups in 4 locations around Ireland. They have held over 20 events in the past year with a really impressive set of Irish and international speakers. Talk about big oaks from little acorns!! It is really amazing to see a conference of this scale being put together by the INDA community volunteers so congratulations are definitely due to all the folks who made the day possible: Paschal & Sinead (overall event organizations); Dino, Paul, Ian and Eamon (speakers), Phillip, Tiernan and Mick (video and photography and general helping out); New Horizons, Eden Recruitment, Hosting365 Sureskills, Software Paths and all the other sponsors.

All that’s left to say is – after hearing Paschal talk about the future directions of INDA - I am sooo looking forward to this coming year of meetings!! J
