Launch 2005 tour is now well underway! I am down in Cork at the moment at IT @ Cork's National Technology and Business Conference (see www.itcork.ie for more details). We have already heard Robert Scoble and Charles Handy among other speakers and I am heading back in for another talk with Robert in a minute. Later on Robert is heading out for an Irish Blogger's Dinner which I am very much looking forward to!

However, I thought I would just pop out quickly and remind you about two other community events that are coming up this week: tomorrow evening Robert Scoble is heading up to Dublin for an event with INDA and next Wednesday IrishDev are having their Christmas meeting in the Morgan Hotel in Temple Bar. Two great events you should be sure not to miss!

In the meantime, I had better get back to the conference – and finish off the rest of the preparations for our Visual Studio 2005 Cork launch tomorrow. If you are in the neighbourhood – do make sure to drop into the Silver Springs Hotel and join the celebrations!

Irish Developers Network presents Indigo for the COM, COM+ and MSMQ Developer

Overview: For the IrishDev Christmas meeting, Paul will provide a brief overview of Indigo's capabilities and concepts; and will then focus on how Indigo integrates with existing Microsoft technologies, specifically COM, COM+, Enterprise Services and Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ). As well as covering the features and capabilities for wire-level integration for existing investments in COM, COM+, Enterprise Services and MSMQ, Paul will cover some real world scenarios of how code may be migrated and the options available to developers. This will include code written in VB6, Delphi, VC++ and .NET, and what options are available when migrating code to .NET 2.0 or to Indigo.
