If you are interested in getting your hands on a free CMS - you should check out one of the following free offerings:

• AxCMS.net which I just saw posted on Scott Guthrie's blog. Scott lists a number of customers already deployed on it, including http://www.porsche-design.com  and  http://www.codezone.org.uk . Check out the following blog for more details, or go ahead and download for free here.

• Umbraco which is another free .NET CMS system that is open source. You can check out examples of Umbraco deployments here.

• dScribe 2.02 another freeware open source CMS system, supports .NET 1.1 and developed locally here in Ireland by Paschal Leloup. Anyone interested can make a request through Paschal's blog.
