VB Tour Coming to Dublin and Belfast!

In April, the VB.NET product team are coming to Dublin and Belfast as part of their EMEA tour. They will be joined by our own Rob Burke and Dominick Baier, a security expert from Develop Mentor. These events will be one-day technical seminars held in Belfast and Dublin on April 10th and 11th respectively. As usual, there is no charge for attending, lunch will be provided and we hope you stay afterwards for the reception and a chance to meet the speakers and have a chat!

The day is aimed mainly at developers with a VB background. Attendees will learn how to enhance their existing VB skills to build impressive Office applications, dynamic websites and mobile applications. Rob will be covering Windows Presentation Framework (Avalon) for VB developers and Dominick will be doing a session on writing secure ASP.NET applications. The VB team will cover: What's New in Visual Basic 2005; Smart Client Development Using Visual Studio Tools for Office and Windows Mobile; Introduction to ASP.NET 2.0 Using Visual Basic 2005 and more.

Remember - if you are a C# developer, you may also find this interesting - as the features are identical in general (even if you keep getting the urge to say "you forgot the semi colon!!" ;)
