Scott Guthrie to visit Dublin for first INDC Conference

Scott Guthrie will be visiting Dublin on the 3rd and 4th of May to give the keynote for the first INDC conference. All the .NET user groups in Ireland and Northern Ireland (INDA, IrishDev and NIMTUG along with ICS) have come together to put on their largest developer community event yet.

It should be an excellent event in the Morrisson hotel, with two tracks to choose sessions from and an additional Hands-On Labs track held across the road in New Horizons excellent training facilities. Apart from the highly-anticipated keynote on the night of the 3rd, sessions to choose from on the main conference day (Thursday 4th) include:

  • Atlas - Scott Guthrie, Microsoft US
  • Agile Programming - Sean Hanly, Exoftware
  • Windows Presentation Foundation (Avalon) - Rob Burke, Microsoft Ireland
  • Team Foundation Server - Martin Woodward, Teamprise
  • Windows Communication Foundation (Indigo) - Paul Fallon, MVP
  • BizTalk - Paul Handm Microsoft
  • SQL Server 2005 - Nick Grattan, Software Paths
  • Languages and beyond (Linq) - Mark Lawrence

In addition to that, the speakers will be attending hands-on labs so you will have extra opportunity for Q&A while walking through self-paced labs on topics such as Team Foundation Server, Atlas etc.

The cost for the event is 50 euro which helps cover the cost of the venue, speaker accommodation, food, receptions etc.

Visit www.developers.ie to find out more information, or go directly to the ICS page to register. Looking forward to seeing you there! It should be a great event!!
