Myths I face often

Yes I sell Visual Studio Team System for a living. That puts me in the front lines of myth busting, from "we don't need no process" to "our team is too small for TFS". For a fun look into several myths, take a look at www.mythweek.com !

TFS, Build, PowerShell, Deployed!

This is so much better than I ever imagined! Take a look at the TFS Deployer : by changing the status on a Build, you can trigger a PowerShell script - ideal for grabbing a successful build and deploying it to a next stage of QA or whatever. How awesome

For TFS, not by Microsoft

There's a lot more out there for Team System - both Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server related - from our Partners and other ISVs. Take a look at the Visual Studio Partner site (especially worth it to check out the Secure App Dev category) as well

Work Items without a TFS CAL

For help desks, reporting production issues, etc. the EULA for Team Foundation Server was changed to allow non-CAL users limited access to Team Foundation Server for filing bugs and such. But the problem was, you had to somehow figure out how to keep
