Daron Yƶndem over at Code Project posted an application that creates a thumbnail image of a website in Visual Basic.  Daron e xposes the WebBrowser object in the System.Windows.Forms class then calls the DrawToBitmap method to create the image.

If you would like it in C#, you can run the example through Carlos Mares's Code Translator.

You can see an implementation of Daron's code over here: http://www.todotoh.com/rgb/rgbanalysis.aspx

This service expands on Daron's code by doing a color analysis of the image and listing out the most frequently used colors on the image. Essentially, it tells you what color palette a page uses.
