Automated skateboarding

Segway?  That is so 1999.  These folks over in Britian created a 1 wheeled balancing skateboard.  It uses a PIC controller, ADXRS300 Rate Gyro and a dual axis accelerometer.  There is a youtube video also.

I think I found my new way of getting to work every day.

Does anyone have tips for a kickflip? I can do it but have trouble landing it sometimes. Please help if you are good at kickflips.
