I'm in high school, I tried to jump the hoops required to get this software and ended up at a page that says they do NOT yet support high school students, only students at colleges and universities.

It's great to see Microsoft finally realizing that high school and college students steal software so why not give it to them. At the same time, they're also potentially boosting the number of computer geeks, which would be great! (in a high school of 3,000, I'm one of maybe 5 students that can write computer programs)

I look forward to the day, hopefully sometime soon, when they allow high school students too.

How long will this be available? I am an online college student and therefore do not have a picture id.

@Ricky and @Adrian:  It is a big task to get everyone on board since we need to verify you're actually a student.  We're still working out all the kinks so bare with us.

Have your principle / department head email me and I'll forward on the information needed or they can go to this link:

Aaargh, it's a fantastic offer unless you live in Australia!!

Hopefully the list of countries will be expanded one day.
