@pepito have skype installed, compile the program. Run Skype, Run the voice changer application, then click the Skype button in the application. From there you can add or remove effects.

@Person I've run the program and it does execute. Do you know what the error was? Did you have skype running while this was running?

- I have downloaded the file "AudioEffectTestApp.zip".

- Where to extract this file ?

@pepito you download the source code from the link at the top. The Zip file you can extract wherever you want and open up the SLN file with Visual Studio 2008 Express c# Edition. Then you have to compile the source code using Visual Studio. With that you then can just run program wherever you want.

Ok, I tried to fillow your instructions...

I have compiled "testapp", and I tried to launch it.

- The installation was successfull.

- I launch "Skype".

- Then, I launch "TestApp Application".

- The menu appears to the screen.

- I click on "Connect to Skype" Button and there is an error. It says : error 80040154.

-So, I try to debug it in Microsoft Visual c# 2008 Express. It find that :

@Pepito, asking a few friends to translate the error screen, I only speak english and as it is a screenshot, I can't run it through a translator! Give me a bit.

I know when the application launched the program worked on my computer along with the author's so I konw it worked with the version of Skype that was out in February.

In english, it should be that :

@pepito, in skype, did you accept the program to have access? Without being at the computer with the error, there isn't very much I can do since I can't recreate here.

@pepito - it seems there is a problem creating the Skype COM object. I don't know if it might be related to you using 64 bit windows. Are you using the latest version of Skype?

However, I want to test the effect by calling the "Sound Test Service" of Skype, and When it playback the record, my voice doesn't change. Is it normal ?

Hello, do you know programs like antares voicething or www.screamingbee.com morphvox? you can use this tools with all messenger....so...is it possible to use your program with msn, icq etc, too? maybe you can create a good freeware tool with the same features =)
