Controller design for Electromagnetic Levitation
Feedback Systems (EE128) Class Project. The goal of this project is to design an analog controller for an electromagnetic levitation system. Students learn to apply theoretical concepts they learned in the class room to a real-world system. They learn how to mathematically model a complex physical system, design a controller to meet specifications and then implement the controller as an analog circuit.

Marble Madness
Marble Madness is a 3D game in which the player controls the motion of a marble through a maze by tilting the playing surface. Players control the tilting motion using a controls they physically hold in their hands. Cameras record the motion of the controller, and translate the player's motion into on-screen action. For the player, it feels as if they are literally holding the playing field in their hand. The demonstration will allow players to play the game, as well as hear about how the motion capture was performed using low cost hardware.
Project Tara Game Engine
Project Tara is a 3D game engine written in C++ that runs on Windows. The game engine and supporting tools will be demonstrated, as will example games constructed using the game engine. These games include Ping.exe, an exploration game in which you play a network packet exploring the Internet, defeating worms and viruses along the way. Demonstrators are happy to discuss Project Tara, the gaes they created, and general game construction and game design issues.
