Amit Mital just announced at dev.live.com and the Live Mesh blog that they are expanding the technical preview of Live Mesh to include Canada, India and Ireland!

I am sure that my Irish colleagues will be happy to hear the news.

To know more about what Live Mesh is about and try it out, it's here.
For the map coverage and check if your country is part of the preview, it's here!

A Microsoft researcher on Tuesday previewed technology that could one day enable people to edit artifacts into video as easily as they do with digital photographs today. The technology looks truly amazing.

Hi guys,

I have been away from this blog for a while now and I am happily announcing that I am refreshing it and will add content around Silverlight and the latest Microsoft technologies as often as I can!

 Hoping you enjoy your summer!

 Cheers,

Vincent.

Hi guys,

I finally published the sources of the game!
For those who don't know Bubble Factory, you can find it there: http://cosmik.members.winisp.net/BubbleFactory/
You can find them on codeplex at this address: http://www.codeplex.com/BubbleFactory/

Setup Tips

I updated it to work with the 1.1 Alpha Refresh. But launching the project
with F5 under VS Orcas Beta 2 won’t work as the game needs to download resources.
You have 2 options to make it working:
- Publish it through a local IIS Virtual Directory
- Launch the project through Blend 2.0

I'd be more than happy to receive any feedbacks or stories if you happen to use this code!

Cheers!

Along with the RC of Silverlight 1.0, Silverlight 1.1 has been slightly updated. This update reflects changes made at the 1.0 level.
For Bubble Factory, the only breaking change was the use of Visibility.Hidden which has to be Visibility.Collapsed from now on.
Apart from that, the update went pretty smoothly for me.

Also, many of you have been asking me when will the sources of Bubble Factory be published.
I am actually working on it right now and should be able to post them by next week certainly on codeplex.

This game has been coded with SilverLight Alpha 1.1 and C# (with Orcas Beta 1) in only 5 intensives nights!
It was originaly a game created for the J2ME platform. I rescaled the arts with the Scale2X algo. This explains the size of the game screen.

I am currently cleaning the sources and will soon publish them on this blog!
Stay tuned!
