Announced just moments ago by Bob Muglia in his IT Forum keynote here in Barcelona, the Inteorp Vendor Alliance went live this morning at 9:00 AM CEST (12:00 AM PST). The alliance represents our commitment to building interoperability through community engagement and is a result of ongoing discussions and great feedback from our customers and partners.

The 25 founding members of the alliance represent leaders in IT from around the world interested in fostering improved interoperability across the industry ecosystem. The goals of the alliance are threefold:

  1. Encourage greater interaction between vendors
  2. Enable specific scenario-based testing of technology solutions
  3. Communicate vendor interoperability information and solutions out to our customers
