(In response to your feedback)

I recently gave a presentation to the .NET User group (http://www.netbc.ca/) that is headed by an instructor at BCIT. Maybe he could be of some help with finding that killer venue.

If you like, fire me an email (rob-at-mscorlib.com) and I will forward it along to him to see if he can be of any help.

You may want to start here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnexxml/html/xml02172003.asp

It's a great article with a lot of C# sample code for building your own news aggregator.

Summary: Dare Obasanjo builds a C# application that retrieves and displays news feeds from various Web sites. The application utilizes XPath, XSLT, XML Schema, the DOM, and XML Serialization in the .NET Framework. (12 printed pages)

Let me know if this helps!
