Shiny objects for MSDN and TechNet Social: #1 FeedFlare

This is the start of a series of small posts on some goodies that are sprouting up to make interacting with our new Social apps easier.

First up is some FeedFlare that Dan Rigsby created. FeedFlare, according to the FeedBurner site, is designed to "Give your subscribers easy ways to email, tag, share, and act on the content you publish ... FeedFlare places a simple footer at the bottom of each content item, helping you to distribute, inform and create a community around your content."

You can add custom Flare to your FeedBurner feeds, and Dan's post shows just how easy it is. The URLs that you paste into FeedBurner form to enable the Flare are below:

  • MSDN: http://www.danrigsby.com/Files/MSDNBookmark.xml
  • TechNet: http://www.danrigsby.com/Files/TechNetBookmark.xml

Click here to see both MSDN and TechNet Flare in action on my feed or see Dan's here.

And yes, we know that FeedBurner is owned by Google :)
