Connect on Connect?

One of the things I'm working on is a Connect Beta site on Connect itself. We've been so busy trying to get our customers, both internal and external, taken care of, that the obvious move of having a Connect Beta on our own site has been taking a back-burner position for a while, although it does keep coming up. Since I was one of the ones making noise about it, yours truly gets to put it together.

I'm not sure exactly when it'll be ready, but I'm trying to get it put together during this development cycle so we can use it to get feedback on the new features we're working on.

Connect is much more than the Product Feedback Center on MSDN- we're trying to incorporate many of the features of that site into Connect, but Connect covers more than bug reports.

Connect is important to Microsoft because it allows us to move toward a unified model of not just feedback, but communication with our customers.

My TAP customers would definitely give you feedback if you had a Connect Beta site on Connect. :) They are now filing Connect bugs and suggestions through our TAP program and I turn around and file those bugs in your internal PS database. I'd love it if you could cut out the middleman (i.e., me)!
